This High Speed Steel Heavy-Duty Jobber Length Drill features drills with right-hand direction of cut and was designed for drilling metal, wood and plastic. The drills were precision ground to tight tolerances with geometries which include a 135-degree split point to eliminate walking of the drills on the work-pieces and 3 flats on their shanks above 11 in./64 in. Dia for tighter chucking. This premium high speed steel drill set also has nitride black and gold treatment for increased hardness and tool longevity. Drill sizes above 3/8 in. in Dia have 3/8 in. Dia shanks.
