The feet remain firm whether using the pointed ones on soft surfaces or the rubber ones on solid surfaces. You can place most surveying and construction instruments on the detachable round head using the 5/8 in. x 11 thread. This device is weather-resistant and withstands moisture. This device supports up 66 lbs. when collapsed and up to 15.4 lbs. when fully elevated.
